Hi All,
I'm here via the Farcebark page link and looking forward to joining in. The depth of knowledge here, judging by the main board topics, is vast. Great stuff. I'm really looking to deepen my technical knowledge and have a greater ability to work on my Z1B rather than just doing routine servicing. Things like wiring I've always kept clear of as it's been black magic to me. :shock:
This is my third Zed. My first was in the mid 80s (Z1B) and the second in the mid 90s was an A4 which ran sweet as a nut and I managed to do a good few runs on before selling for a GSXR11 which I fightered.
Anyway, my Zed is pretty standard and in reasonable condition with the exception of the wheels. I'm looking at replacing them over the winter and generally giving the bike a good going over before next season. It had stood idle for 5 years prior to me buying it but fired with fresh fuel, a new battery and on the second press of the starter. Let the fettling begin!! (Hopefully)... Here's a couple of pics. Ride safe.
Hmmm.... Got a a message re submitting the pics;
DSCN1363.jpg => The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1280 pixels wide and 960 pixels high. The submitted image is 3648 pixels wide and 2736 pixels high.
Any ideas??? Cheers people. ;)

Welcome Northern Lad,

I got a Z1-B too. Great Bikes.

I made a website which shows how mine was restored and gives you links to download Service Manuals, Engine Rebuild Articles etc. if you need any help.

Cheers from Mark
