Hi all. Not a newbie to Z1's but to this forum. 74 Z1 I've had for about 40 years, second owner. Completely restored with some upgrades (lester wheels, elec. ignition, header, misc.) otherwise used as many NOS parts I could find in my restore. Occasionally things I can't totally get satisfactory answers too on other Kaw forums which mostly zero in on later KZ models. Of course there's similarities but the early Z's (73-75) did have some differences. Hopefully this forum will provide a solid resource for issues I may have. I have an issue now but I haven't scanned the forums yet to see if there's an answer here. If not, or if I need more clarification, I'll post my issue. Likewise I'll do my best to answer any of yours. Thanks.
