Hi All
I from the outskirts of Sydney Australia , I have a KZ900 1977 built in the USA ,I am restoring ,I am a Member of COBRA (Cars Old Bike Riders Australia) this is a newly formed Club for car and bike enthusiasts. I joined here as it seems like the place to be online with like mended people"
My Bike has a lot of LTD parts as far as I can tell , it has the King/Queen seat,Mag Wheels ,rear Disc brake and twin Front Disc's ,Air pod filters etc.
it was built at the Lincoln Nebraska Plant

Engine # ZIE -131695
I brought it from California about 5 years ago ,from the numbers I came up with it was an A5 , but it appears as an LTD ,But as far as I know they did not build any LTD's in 1977??
any help with that?
Cheers Steve

Hello Steve :text-welcomewave: I can't say I know too much about the A5/LTD's  , but I'm sure someone here can help you.

Greetings Steve...except for assembling leftover 1976 KZ900 models (=A5) in Nebraska, Kawasaki had begun making the 1015cc 1000 models by late 1976. For the 903cc line, the only LTD model was the 1976 KZ900-B1. There was no comparable 1977 LTD model for the A5. In 1977 (late 1976), Kawasaki did release the 1000 LTD (KZ1000-B1).

Sounds like an A5 with A4 engine? looks as though it just has some Ltd parts bolted on.
